| | Dance Night 2009. One of the best days of my LIFE, I can safely say. I enjoy every single time I'm dancing on stage, but maybe this time it's more memorable because it's one of my last. The last time I'd feel the adrenaline rushing through my every vein just before we enter the stage; the last time I'd be dancing with HCCD dancers whom I've grown to love over these 4 months or so; the last time I'd feel the amazing rush of satisfaction after a performance... Cause now "after" really means the end. Okay I'm beginning to feel all pensive and nostalgic all over again.
Maybe you don't realise how much it means to say that those doors will always stay open to welcome me back again. But it does (: And though I'm definitely not the best out there, I've enjoyed every single performance, practice and rehearsal that I've been through in the past 10 years. Cause I'd do it all over again if I had a choice. No regrets, because I know this decision will be worth it in the end. Just heart-wrenching when I come to think about letting it go.
I'm a dancer, and I'm proud of it.

Big thank you to all the lovely people who came down for HC Dance Night! And brought with them flowers, hugs, cameras, praise and everything nice. I loved Saturday night's show (: Haha and Zelei thought I spotted her in the audience when I smiled during the SYF dance after the "war" part! Actually it was so dark that I couldn't spot anybody sitting there (which is a good thing), but do keep thinking that way if it makes you feel SPECIAL! :D I'm going to dry all my roses and keep them for YEARS to come.
And it's not just all closure. 36th Investiture 2009! The event that we've been rehearsing for may be over, but there are a lot more to come in the coming year, so brace yourselves for a CRAZY time!
Arrived Changi with Hern Hern for Council camp after midnight! Just in time to sleep, and for area cleaning the next morning. Haha so I satisfied myself with spamming photos with the councillors! I love (successful) jumpshots :D
